Kareena Kapoor Khan says it's wrong to label LGBTQ community; shares how she wants to bring up Taimur, Jeh

"We are one. That’s the whole idea. Why are people even saying that 'this is different'?" Kareena said in an interview.

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, who has always been vocal about her support for the LGBT community, often shares her views on social issues. Recently, she talked about the LGBTQ community and said that she wants her kids to respect them as they are no different. 

While speaking to Filmfare, Bebo said, "Even calling them (those from the LGBTQ community) 'different' is something I don’t like. We are one. That’s the whole idea. Why are people even saying that 'this is different'? No! We're all the same na with our hearts, lungs, and liver so why are we seeing them in other way? That's the way I think and that’s the way I’ll always bring up my boys to think also."

Talking about the community, the 'Jab We Met' actress stated, "'I love you guys! I love the fact that you always shower me with so much love. I'm all for transparency and both Saif and I are people who live life transparently and have friends all over the world from the LGBTQ community. We are open-hearted and open-minded and that's the way I look forward to bringing up my children. We talk to them about issues pertaining to the community and I feel that's how it should be."

On the work front, Kareena will be seen in the movie 'Laal Singh Chaddha'. 

The movie is an adaptation of the award-winning Hollywood film 'Forrest Gump'. Along with Kareena, the film will feature Aamir Khan as the lead actor. The actress was pregnant when she was shooting this film. On this Kareena said, "So, my son is practically in Laal Singh Chaddha. He is in the romantic song with Aamir and me."

The actress, who has been particular when it comes to her sons, found herself in the middle of controversies after naming them Taimur and Jehangir. While speaking to The Guardian, Kareena   said, "Honestly, these are names that we just liked; it’s nothing else. They are beautiful names and they’re beautiful boys. It’s unfathomable why somebody would troll children. I feel terrible about it, but I have to just focus and get through it. I can’t be looking at my life through the trolls."
