Looks like tinsel town has found a new heartthrob in Dulquer Salmaan. The popular Malayalam actor made his Bollywood debut with Irrfan Khan and Mithila Palkar starrer recently released film Karwaan. While the movie has received mixed response, Dulquer's performance and effortless charm is gathering a lot of attention and praises.
While Dulquer has spent about six years in cinema, the actor certainly seems overwhelmed by the experience of shooting for and promoting his first Bollywood film. During the promotional interviews of Karwaan, Dulquer has expressed on numerous occasions how much he and Mithila missed Irrfan Khan.
Recently, the folks at BollywoodLife caught up with Dulquer and asked him if he would like to play his father Mammootty on screen if a biopic was made on him. The actor told them, "I won’t do it. I don’t know who should do it but it certainly won’t be me. I think I will be too biased."
Further talking about growing up in a film family and the influence it had had on him, he told the portal, "Everything he does, he does it with a certain level of integrity. So that’s always a big inspiration.”
