The makers of 'Karwaan' recently released a new song from the album - 'Heartquake', which features a quirky mixture of Urdu and English lyrics. Speaking about the song, director Akarsh Khurana said in a statement, "We needed a quirky romantic song for Irrfan Khan's character, Shaukat. He gets irritated with Mithila Palkar's character whenever she speaks to him in English. He responds to her in chaste Urdu. So to depict Shaukat's vulnerable romantic space I wanted a song which was a mix of Urdu and English."
Sung by Papon, Heartquake will appear in the second half of the movie. Its colloquial lyrics have already become a huge hit amongst the youth. It being called gen-next's ghazal.
