Actor Kirti Kulhari, who was last seen in 'The Girl on The Train', announced that she is separating from her husband Saahil Sehgal, on Thursday. The actor posted a note on her Instagram account and said that the decision is "not on paper, but in life".
In a long note on her verified Instagram page, Kirti wrote, "A simple note to let everyone know that my husband Saahil and I have decided to separate. Not on paper, but in life. A decision that's probably harder than the decision of "being with somebody", because coming together is celebrated by everyone you love and care about."
She further added, "And the decision of "not being with somebody" brings along pain and hurt to the same people. It's not easy. Guess it's not meant to be easy but IT IS WHAT IT IS. To all those who really care, I am in a good place and I hope everyone who matters in my life is too. Will not be commenting further on this. Upward and Onward... Always."
On the work front, Kirti has been busy delivering one after another fabulous performance. The actor is one of the biggest names on the OTT platform currently and ended 2020 on a high professional note with her show 'Criminal Justice: Behind The Doors'.
Earlier speaking to Hindustan Times, Kirti had opened up about the process of choosing from the web offers she receives.
She had said, "There are no particular criteria as such, also because I have a certain filmography now (Pink, Mission Mangal, Indu Sarkar, Uri: The Surgical Strike). People know the work I’m generally associated with, so I don’t get anything that is just random. Pretty much everything I’m offered is in a space I want to do, but obviously I can’t do everything."
