Kriti Sanon, who has just finished doing the interiors of her new house, is gearing up to celebrate Diwali next week. What makes it more special for the Bareilly Ki Barfi actress is that her parents are flying down from Delhi. A source close to her says that every year Kriti rings in the festival of lights with her family in the capital city, but this time she will not be able to go.
“Kriti loves the festival as she has many childhood memories associated with it — be it the colourful lights, sweets, fragrances or the guests at home. This year, she is looking forward to positive vibes the celebrations will bring to her new home, which has been readied just in time for the festival,” adds the source.
An elated Kriti says, “I am in the midst of shooting for my film and it will be difficult to fly to Delhi. So, my parents have planned to come down and it will be our first Diwali puja and celebration together in this house.”
