Luv Sinha breaks his silence on why he didn't attend sister Sonakshi Sinha's wedding to Zaheer Iqbal: 'I feel...'
Sonakshi Sinha's brothers Luv Sinha and Kush Sinha didn't attend her wedding with Zaheer Iqbal.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal tied the knot with each other on June 23, in a civil marriage ceremony at her sprawling sea-facing, 26-floor apartment in Bandra West. The couple also held a grand reception on Sunday night, which was attended by Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Kajol, Huma Qureshi, and multiple other Bollywood celebs.
Sonkashi's parents, including the veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha, and Zaheer's parents, including businessman-jeweller Iqbal Ratansi, blessed the newlyweds at their wedding and reception. However, the actress's brothers Luv Sinha and Kush Sinha were not seen at both the functions.
While speaking to Hindustan Times, when Luv was asked why he didn't attend his sister's wedding, the Gadar 2 actor said, "Please give it a day or two. I’ll respond to your question then if I feel I can. Thank you for asking." A source was quoted telling the portal, "Sonakshi’s parents attended the wedding, and were naturally elated about the day. However, her brothers didn’t come to the wedding as well as the reception. The photographers didn't spot the two entering the venue, till the very end. And everyone found it to be really weird."
Earlier, when reports had emerged about Sonakshi's wedding with Zaheer, Luv had told ETimes, "I'm out of Mumbai at the moment, and if it’s regarding the news published, I have no comment or involvement in the matter." In the absence of Luv and Kush, Huma Qureshi's brother and actor Saqib Saleem took on the duties of Sonakshi's brother in her wedding with Zaheer.
