When Manisha Koirala made her debut with Saudagar, it was a veteran filmmaker — Subhash Ghai — who launched her. But now the actress, who is in her 40s, says that she is enjoying working with the newer breed of directors; some who might even be younger than her. “I feel they have more enthusiasm. Their way of looking at life is different,” she says.
The actress, who received positive reviews for her recent short Lust Stories and plays Nargis Dutt in Sanju, finds the younger generation bolder and more forthright in their opinions. “I love competing with them!” she laughs.
