The actor we are talking about started his career alongside Salman Khan in a supporting role and later one film changed his life and made him a star. His brothers are also well-known names in the film industry. He is none other than Aditya Roy Kapur. 

Aditya Roy Kapur is the son of Kumud Roy Kapur, and a Jewish mother Salome Aaron. His grandfather, Raghupat Roy Kapur, was a film producer in the early 1940s. He has two brothers, Siddharth Roy Kapur, who is a popular film producer, and Kunal Roy Kapur, who is also an actor. Aditya is the youngest sibling. 

He started his career as a VJ at Channel V India, where his comic timing and "unique style of hosting" was appreciated. Later, he made his Bollywood debut as a supporting actor in Salman Khan's London Dreams which also starred Ajay Devgn and Asin Thottumkal in key roles. The film failed to perform well at the box office. Later, he also starred in Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's Action Replayy which also failed to perform at the box office. Her next film, Guzaarish alongside Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya also flopped at the box office. 

However, 2013 became a turning point in his career. The actor starred in a lead role in Aashiqui 2 alongside Shraddha Kapoor, and the film emerged to be a massive success at the box office. Not only this, the film also made Aditya and Shraddha a star and their chemistry won several hearts. In the same year, he starred in Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone and it was his second box-office success. 

However, after this, the actor starred in several movies like Fitoor, Daawat-e-Ishq, Ok Jaanu, Kalank, Malang, Sadak 2, Gumraah and others, but all of them failed to make a mark at the box office. The actor has not had a single hit in the last 10 years but his OTT show, The Night Manager did manage to impress the audience. 

According to reports, Aditya Roy Kapur charges Rs 7 crore per film and leads a luxurious life. He reportedly has a whopping net worth of Rs 89 crore. He will next be seen in Anurag Basu's Metro… In Dino alongside Sara Ali Khan. The film also stars Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, and Ali Fazal along with others, and is scheduled to release this year.
