Anjali Jathar, born and raised in Mumbai, was always a fan of dancing. She first got recognition in showbiz when she appeared in a Liril soap advertisement in 1991. Then, in 1994, Anjali Jathar finally made her debut with 'Madhosh'.
In her short career, Anjali Jathar worked in just 9 films but she made a name for herself as a leading lady and for her dancing skills. She was last seen in the 1998 film 'Khote Sikkey'. After this, she quit acting and moved to the US. The actress married Kaushik Paul and, with him, welcomed a son whose name is Riaan. They currently live in Raleigh where Anjali Jathar now runs a dance academy called "Anjali Jathar Bollywood Dance Academy".
For the unversed, Anjali Jathar's name was also linked to Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi, popular for his role as Circuit in 'Munnbhai MBBS'. The two were reportedly engaged and were about to get married but the relationship ended.
