People often think that children of superstars have it easy in the film industry but, there are many such actors, who despite being part of an affluent family, struggle to find success in the film industry. Today, we will tell you about one such actress who made her debut in 2003 but despite working with many actors, this actress could not succeed in films.

We are talking about none other than Juhi Babbar, daughter of Bollywood superstar Raj Babbar and actress Nadira Babbar. Juhi Babbar is a well-known name in the theatre industry but she could never make a name for herself in films.

For the unversed, Juhi Babbar made her Bollywood debut opposite Sonu Nigam in 'Kash Aap Hamare Hote'. The film was a super flop. She then made her Punjabi film debut in 2005 opposite Jimmy Shergill in 'Yaara Naal Baharan'. She also did a silent film with Malayalam actor Mohanlal. She also worked with Sanjay Kapoor, Rituparna Sengupta, Harman Baweja, Genelia D'Souza, and Nana Patekar.

In 2009, Juhi played the role of a housewife in the TV comedy 'Ghar Ki Baat Hai' produced by Shah Rukh Khan.

But, despite this, she could not succeed in Bollywood.

In a recent interview, Juhi Babbar, speaking about her career trajectory, said, "Unfortunately, I never got good work in Punjabi or Hindi cinema. 'Kash Aap Hamare Hote' didn't work at the box office. Still, girls used to get movies then. Like, the typical three-hero and three-heroine movies, where you are doing stupid, dumb characters. People told me, '2-4 aise role kar lo, tum achi actor ho notice ho jaogi' I said, 'No'."

Juhi Babbar told PTI further, "I don't know whether it made for a good professional decision or not. Nonetheless, it made me a happier person and at least today there are no tapes that I have to hide from my 12-year-old son."

Juhi Babbar is currently busy with her play "With Love, Aap ki Saiyaara", which recently celebrated its 100th show in Mumbai.

Juhi Babbar is married to TV actor Anup Soni. The couple got married in 2011 and welcomed their son in 2012. Before Anup Soni, Juhi Babbar was married to Bejoy Nambiar, a screenplay writer. The couple got married in June 2007 and got divorced in January 2009.

Anup Soni's marriage to Juhi Babbar was also his second. He was earlier married to Ritu and also had two daughters with her. After his divorce was finalised, Juhi Babbar and Anup Soni got married.
