That Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are a couple, is no more a news. The rumours of their impending marriage have been going around since a while now however, it all reached its peak just a few days ago when reports of Priyanka and Nick's engagement surfaced. The actress sent the entire nation in a state of shock as she walked out of Salman Khan’s Bharat last minute to reportedly get married to Nick.
Director Ali Abbas Zafar subtly hinted at their union while announcing her exit from the film. He wrote, "Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of @Bharat_TheFilm & and the reason is very very special, she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her ... Team Bharat wishes @priyankachopra loads of love & happiness for life".
But if there’s one person whose ‘royal’ approval Priyanka couldn’t do without, then it was of her friend, Meghan Markle.
The Duchess of Sussex and the Bollywood superstar have been friends for quite some time now. In fact, Priyanka even attended the former Suits star’s wedding to Prince Harry. Now that Priyanka and Nick might be walking down the aisle themselves pretty soon, Meghan couldn’t be happier.
According to a HollywoodLife source, “Meghan hopes they make amazing, gorgeous, talented babies together one day soon. Meghan can’t wait to get an invite to their wedding and hopes to be a bridesmaid too! Meghan is not surprised at all that Nick and Priyanka are getting married quickly. She thinks Priyanka is an amazing woman and Nick would be smart to lock her down. Meghan is a fan of Nick’s music too and thinks they are hot together and will be even better as a married couple.”
Priyanka had reportedly taken Nick to visit Meghan and Harry at their house while in London, and they had a great time together. Priyanka and Nick have been spotted together quite often in the past few days, including a dinner date and a Beauty and the Beast Live in Concert show.
However, despite all the rumours, Priyanka wasn't seen wearing the engagement ring when she was recently spotted at the Mumbai airport. Maybe she’s keeping it hidden for now? Here’s hoping that their wedding will be another royal one.
