That superstar Aamir Khan and his brother Faisal Khan haven't had a great relationship is out in the open. But that was the past. Now, in a recent interview with a media portal, Faisal Khan who is all geared up to make his debut as a director has opened up about his current equation with his superstar brother and also reacted to the news of his divorce with wife, producer Kiran Rao.
For the unversed, Faisal and Aamir starred in 'Mela' which flopped brutally at the box office. And now, with 'Faactory', which he has directed and stars in, Faisal hopes to make a comeback in films.
Opening up about his current equation with his brother Aamir Khan, Faisal told ETimes in an exclusive chat, "Everything is okay between us. As an individual, I take my own decisions. I am not a director who doesn't know what he has made. I have given my best and my producers have helped me with it. God’s and the audience’s verdict remains to be seen."
On Aamir and Kiran's sudden divorce announcement, Faisal said, "I cannot give them any advice. My marriage didn’t work out, so I am no one to comment on anyone’s personal life. They know what is best for them."
Talking about his personal life, Faisal said that if all goes well with the film, he might lookout for a suitable match for himself. The actor-director was quoted as saying, "Unfortunately, I have not made enough money to afford a wife and I don't have any girlfriend, because having one is also an expensive affair. A wife is even more expensive. Picture hit ho toh ladki dhoodna shuru karu (I'll look for a girl once my film is declared a hit)."
As for 'Faactory', the film will introduce an upcoming talent Roaleey Ryan opposite Faissal. Raj Kumar Kanojia, Ribbhu Mehra, Sharad Singh and Asha Singh are amongst the other cast of the film.
