Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao starrer 'Mental Hai Kya' finally has some good news to share. The movie, which has faced a long delay, is now set for a release. The makers have now unveiled a new poster which reveals the release date of this film.
In the poster which has released, Rajkummar Rao and Kangana Ranaut can be seen balancing a blade with their tongue. The poster goes with the theme of 'Mental Hai Kya', which literally is all about crazy antics. The poster also has the tagline "Sanity is overrated".
Kangana Ranaut can be seen in a leopard printed nightsuit while Rajkummar Rao wear a maroon t-shirt in the poster. Sharing the same poster on Instagram, Rajkummar Rao wrote, "Madness has made its cut! Catch Mental Hai Kya in theatres on 21st June 2019"
The movie, directed by Prakash Kovelamudi, is now slated to release on June 21. Produced by Karma Media and Entertainment and Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures, the comedy thriller will also feature Jimmy Shergill and Amyra Dastur in pivotal roles.
Rajkummar Rao had previously spoken about the film and mentioned, “It’s an amazing script as it is a very quirky and different comedy. Kangana is such a powerhouse performer and we are coming together after Queen along with Ekta Kapoor (producer) so it’s going to be a lot of fun.”
The first posters of this film were first unveiled in March last year. The zany posters caught everybody's attention and became the talk of the town then, especially since the actors complimented the title of the film.
