The #MeToo movement has taken the Hindi film industry and entertainment industry at large, by storm.

Several celebrities have been struck by this storm in B-town, and continue to be as the campaign gains momentum, with several survivors narrating their ordeal and naming the perpetrators on public platforms.

Among these alleged predators are Alok Nath, Rajat Kapoor, Subhash Ghai, Sajid Khan, Vikas Bahl, with new names coming to the fore every other day.

Recently filmmaker Subhash Kapoor, best known for directing Jolly LLB series, was also accused of sexual misconduct.

Subhash, who was accused by a small-time actress Geetika Tyagi in 2014, was recently ousted from Mogul, the Gulshan Kumar biopic that he has scripted and was set to direct.

After Aamir Khan, who was co-producing the film and his wife Kiran Rao distanced themselves from the project owing to allegations against the director, producer Bhushan Kumar (T-Series) dropped him from the project.

And now, according to a report by Bollywood Hungama says that Subhash Kapoor may lose the Jolly LLB franchise as well.

Yes, after Mogul, there is a possibility that Subhash Kapoor is dropped out of the Jolly LLb series as well.

“Fox Star Studios, which produced the Jolly LLB series, have zero tolerance for sexual offences. And Akshay Kumar who plays the lead in the series has made it clear he won’t work with anyone linked to sexual offences. Housefull 4 director Sajid Khan also, who is accused of sexual misconduct, had to be fired on Akshay’s say-so. Subhash Kapoor too will have to go,” a source has been quoted in the report as saying.

Mogul, meanwhile, is set to go on floors in February for which the hunt for a new director is still on.
