Celebrity stylist Sapna Bhavnani has taken Amitabh Bachchan's name in India's ongoing #MeToo movement

Former Bigg Boss 6 contestant and celebrity hair stylist Sapna Bhavnani took the social media by storm by naming Amitabh Bachchan, as the latest addition in the list of those who've been called out in the ongoing #MeToo movement in the country. Earlier, Amitabh Bachchan was slammed left, right and centre on social media, when he said, "Neither am I Tanushree Dutta, nor am I Nana Patekar, then why am I being asked this question?" on being asked for his take on the Tanushree Dutta - Nana Patekar controversy, at the trailer launch of his upcoming film Thugs of Hindostan.

On his 76th birthday this year, the legendary actor had shared the link to an interview in which he had spoken about the #MeToo movement and harassment of women at work places. "No woman should ever be subjected to any kind of misbehaviour, or disorderly conduct, especially at her work place. Such acts should immediately be brought to the notice of concerned authorities, and corrective measures be taken, either through filing complaints or a recourse to law," he was quoted as saying.

Now, Sapna Bhavnani has hit back at Big B for his recent comment on the #MeToo movement, calling it the "biggest lie ever" and almost warning him that his "truth will come out soon." The former Bigg Boss contestant took to her Twitter account and wrote, "Sir the film Pink has released and gone and your image of being an activist will soon too. Your truth will come out very soon. Hope you are biting your hands cuz nails will not be enough."

Sapna also affed in another tweet that she has "personally heard so many stories of Bachchan's sexual misconduct and I hope those women come out. His hypocrisy is sooooo tires."

Amitabh Bachchan's name is probably that of the biggest celeb to have cropped up in the #MeToo movement thus far. Other B-Town celebs accused of sexual harassment by women include Rajat Kapoor, Vikas Bahl, Sajid Khan, Subhash Ghari, Alok Nath and Kailash Kher among others. He has not responded to Sapna's allegations yet.

Meanwhile, Bachchan, who's gearing up for the release of Thugs of Hindostan with Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh, recently celebrated his 76th birthday. Thugs of Hindostan is his first collaboration with Aamir Khan and the fillm is slated to hit the theatres on November 8.
