Sridevi is neck deep in promotions of her upcoming film Mom. The movie is extra special for her as it's supposed to be her 300th film. Her daughters Janvi and Khushi have already seen Mom and they've loved it.
While Sridevi awaits her film's release, on the other hand, her elder daughter Janvi is also set to make her acting debut in Bollywood. In an interview given to Mid Day, Sridevi admitted that she didn't want Janvi to enter the showbiz and didn't encourage her much when Karan Johar's Student of The Year 2 was offered to her.
Sridevi was quoted as saying, "She wanted to do the film and initially, I wasn’t in favour. I don’t think it’s a bad industry. I am a creation of this world. But, as a parent, it would give me greater joy to see her married. But her happiness matters more, and if she does well as an actress, I will be a proud mother."
Sometime back, even Saif Ali Khan had echoed similar sentiments in his interview, when he stated that he would want his daughter Sara Ali Khan to have a "more stable" career than acting in movies.
