Last year, legendary Bollywood actress Sridevi's tragic and, what was seen as, mysterious death in February sent shockwaves around the world. While fans and celebs mourned the loss of the veteran actress, her family struggled to deal with the gaping void. Her elder daughter, Janhvi Kapoor, who made her Bollywood debut in 2018 with Dharma Productions' 'Dhadak', has often spoken about the pain she feels and how she is still processing the shock.
On her first death anniversary, Janhvi instagrammed a heartwarming throwback picture. Sharing a closeup of her and Sridevi's hands, Janhvi wrote, "My heart will always be heavy. But I’ll always be smiling because it has you in it."

Earlier while speaking about her mother's sad demise, Janhvi had said in an interview, "I think, I was still in that state of shock, to be very honest. I think I am still in shock. None of it has been processed. Like, I have no memory of three or four months."
