In a recent television interview, Tanushree Dutta reiterated that Nana Patekar had allegedly sexually harassed her during the shooting of Horn ‘OK’ Pleassss in 2008. The veteran actor has now sent a legal notice to her asking for a written apology.
Nana’s lawyer Rajendra Shirodkar told After Hrs, “Our notice shows how her allegations are false and factually incorrect. So, we’ve sent one for defamation as certain words she used were reported by the papers on the first day. I have quoted all that she has said and asked for an apology. Let’s see if she replies. Depending on what she states, we will decide the future course of action.”
When asked what if Tanushree doesn’t reply, Shirodkar answered, “We have given her a timeline, we will proceed irrespective of whether she replies or not.” Nana, who is currently in Jaisalmer for the shooting of Housefull 4, is likely to hold a press conference after his return to Mumbai. Shirodkar said, “He will speak to the media through a press conference after he is back in town.”
