'Bharat' will see Nora Fatehi playing a Latino gal from Malta

Bigg Boss fame Nora Fatehi is on cloud nine and we can't see why not!

First, her music video Dilbar from the film Satyameva Jayate starring John Abraham, has become a rage amongst the viewers and breaking the internet, and second, another music video of hers, titled Kamariya from the Rajkummar Rao-Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree is also out, and is being liked by many.

But to top it all, the actress has bagged a role in the big budget film, Bharat, which stars Salman Khan

Not much is known about her role and the actress-dancer gives little to no information herself, but in an interview with Mid-Day, the actress revealed that she will be seen speaking Spanish in the film.

Nora and Salman know each other since the time she was a contestant on a season of Bigg Boss hosted by the Race 3 actor.

Talking about her association, Nora said, “Bharat is a big project for me, and I want to give my best to it. I am grateful to Salman, Ali and producer Atul Agnihotri who thought I was perfect for the character. Working under Ali’s direction will be a wonderful experience.”

Further revealing a bit of information about her Spanish tutor, she said, “Since my role requires me to speak in Spanish, I thought of picking up the language. I haven’t hired a tutor, but I am learning it from a close friend,”

If reports are to be believed, Nora Fatehi will essay the role of a Latino gal from Malta.

In a statement to Mumbai Mirror, filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar said, “Nora has a special character and contrary to speculation, it’s not an item number. Her role is important to the story and will see her share screen space with Salman and Sunil’s characters. She will be seen in the mid-’80s portion of the film.”

Earlier, in a statement, Nora had said, “Excited to be a part of a project of this magnitude. It’s a dream come true! The team is impeccable and the combination of Ali Sir and Salman Sir is the perfect combination. For me these were reasons good enough to willingly come on board. Looking forward to beginning shooting soon.”

Bharat, helmed by Tiger Zinda Hai director Ali Abbas Zafar, is slated to hit the screens on June 5 next year.
