Sushmita Sen's hit item song from the 90s, 'Dilbar' from 'Sirf Tum' gets recreated for John Abraham film 'Satyamev Jayate'

Every Sushmita Sen fan loves her sensuous dance moves in 'Dilbar' which was a part of Sanjay Kapoor-Priya Gill starrer 'Sirf Tum'. The superhit song from the 90s is now being recreated for yet another super hottie among the current generation of actors.

Former Bigg Boss contestant Nora Fatehi who was last seen in Sanjay Suri's 'My Birthday Song' has teamed up with John Abraham for this sizzling number in 'Satyamev Jayate'. We all know that Nora is a trained belly dancer and turned out to be the perfect choice to add Arabic theme to the new version of 'Dilbar'. Filmmaker Milap Zaveri shot the song over the weekend along with John Abraham and Nora Fatehi. The pictures from the song show John Abrahamis sitting on a chair dressed in a black suit, much like Sanjay’s black outfit in the original, while Nora is dressed like an Arabian dancer.

Nora Fatehi was nervous about doing a remake and rehearsed for 10 days before shooting the song. She said, “Doing a remake of an iconic song is always nerve-racking because you never know if you can actually do justice to it. Sushmita Sen was iconic in the song and I hope I match her. I’m so lucky to have got this chance and thankful that Nikkhil Advani sir, Bhushan Kumar sir and Milap Zaveri sir trusted me to be able to do a song like this. The take on the song is very unique and different. It’s going to be one of the most visually stunning songs, with amazing hypnotizing dance moves I am sure this song will become a rage with the audiences.”

While John Abraham won't be shaking a leg in the song is glad about incoporating Sushmita's number “When I heard the powerful script of Satyameva Jayate I knew that we had most of the ingredients that are required for an out and out the commercial masaledaar film. With the addition of Dilbar, one of the most catchy songs of the 90’s and the way it has been stunningly picturized by Adil and Nora I am certain we have a winner.”

Producer Nikkhil Advani is all praises for Nora's dance moves and says, “Nora Fatehi’s belly dance on this iconic track is, in my opinion, going to be genre defining. The brief to choreographer Adil Sheikh was to create a clutter breaker. I think he has just surpassed all my expectations. Dilbar is going to be one more reason to watch Satyameva Jayate on August 15.”

Satyameva Jayate also stars debutant Aisha Sharma, Manoj Bajpayee and Amruta Khanvilkar and will hit the theatres on 15th August 2018. The film is directed by Milap Zaveri and is jointly produced by T-series and Emmay Entertainment
