After giving a few glimpses of what's in store for us in John Abraham's next offering - Satyamev Jayate with its power packed trailer, the makers of the film have now unveiled the first song from the film - Dilbar. Featuring the ex Bigg Boss contestant Nora Fatehi, the song is a recreated version of Sushmita Sen's hit track from the film Sirf Tum. On watching the music video of the rehashed version, we surely love Nora's stunning moves but nonetheles, we do miss Sushmita's jaw-dropping expressions in the original track.
The visuals of Satyamev Jayate's Dilbar song open with shots of Nora Fatehi's romance with the sand which is contrasted with John Abraham's dumdaar action. We're then taken to an arabic setting where Nora sizzles with her belly dance. John too makes an appearance after some time, with a grim expression on his face, remaining unaffected by Nora's attempts to entice him. The highlight of this recreated version remains Nora's impeccable dancing skills and that's about it for the visuals.
We'd like to admit that we went back to watching Sushmita Sen's killer expressions and that signature step of hers with the palms as she tries to entice Sanjay Kapoor in the song, several times after watching this rehashed version.
Now, coming to the lyrics which have been tweaked a bit by Shabbir Ahhmed and Ikka. The song has been recreated by the king of rehashed melodies this season - Tanishk Bagchi and sung by Neha Kakkar, Dhvani Bhanushali and Ikka. We wonder why Neha's vocals have been extra-tuned in the song, so-much-so that it took us quite some time to realise that's it's her voice.
