The satirical-comedy OMG 2, starring Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva's messenger and Pankaj Tripathi as Lord Shiva's devotee, opened to great reviews from audiences and critics upon its release this Friday. The Amit Rai directorial makes strong case for the inclusion of sex education in the Indian schools' curriculum.

As the Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi-starrer deals with the subject of sex education and incorporates the themes of God and religion in its narrative, the film wnet through multiple changes and was granted an A rating by the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) in view to safeguard people's sentiments.

Akshay Kumar recently went to a theatre in Mumbai to watch OMG 2 with the cinegoers and after the film, expressed his disapppointment on the film receiving an A certificate. After the screening, Akshay interacted with the audiences and when people cheered for him and the film, the actor took a sarcastic jibe at CBFC and said, "Kamaal ki baat bataun, pehli adult film hai jo teenagers ke liye bani hai (The funny thing is that this is the first adult film which is made for teenagers)."

The Sooryavanshi actor also thanked the audiences fo coming in large numbers to watch the film. The video was shared on the subreddit Bolly Blinds N Gossip on the social media platform Reddit on Saturday, August 12, with the caption, "Happy for Akki that OMG 2 is going to be successful but man you can tell by his voice he is extremely sad about the unjustified A rating. This film would be making so much more if it had been rated U/A."
