Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha are set to tie the knot with each other at The Leela Palace Hotel in Udaipur on Sunday, September 24. Multiple celebrities, such as Sania Mirza and Manish Malhotra, and top politicians including Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann are in Rajasthan city for the wedding festivities.
Just after her wedding, Parineeti will be seen in Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue, in which she is paired again with her Kesari co-star Akshay Kumar. The Ladies vs Ricky Bahl actress has given a couple of interviews for the promotions of the film, which releases in cinemas on October 6.
While speaking with Radio City, she was shown an old video of herself where she talked about her wedding. In the old clip, Parineeti can be heard saying, "I'd like to settle down in another three to four years. Having said that, I won't settle down until I find someone with whom I can gel and be sure to spend the rest of my life. Till then, I'll be happily single."
Reacting to this old video, Parineeti said in her recent interview, "4 saal pehle maine bola ki 4 saal mein meri shaadi hogi? I am very impressed with my own self ki maine aisa kuch prediction kar dia (Four years back I predicted that I would get married in next four years? I'm very impressed with my own self that I had predicted something like this)."
The upcoming film, directed by Tinu Suresh Desai of Rustom fame, is the biopic of chief mining engineer Jaswant Singh Gill, who rescued 65 miners during the Raniganj Coalfields collapse in 1989. It was initially reported that the film has been titled Capsule Gill and The Great Indian Rescue before its final title, Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue was locked.
