Though Nora Fatehi is now a well-known name in Bollywood, she had to face a lot of trouble in Canada, where she once used to work as a waitress.

Actor-dancer Nora Fatehi is without doubt one of the most popular Bollywood stars now and she has earned the love and fame through her sheer hard work. Nora has earned praise of million of her fans with her gorgeous grooves and belly dancing skills.

Though Nora Fatehi is now a well-known name in Bollywood, she had to face a lot of trouble in Canada, where she once used to work as a waitress. According to Nora, she had to face body-shaming for being skinny as people in Canada did not like skinny girls.

“Being skinny is not much liked. That’s a cultural mentality and that’s why we are constantly eating," she said, adding, “It’s very difficult to be a waitress. You have to have communication skills, personality, you have to be fast, you have to have a good memory. Sometimes, customers can be mean, so you have to be able to handle situations.”

Nora, a self-described foodie, was also questioned how she keeps her form in shape. “I come from a culture where (being) skinny is not good. We really love thickness and curviness in female bodies. For me, I am always trying to be thick and curvy and put on weight. That’s a cultural mentality that we have, that’s why we are constantly eating.”

Nora will appear in a special number in ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’ on the work front. On November 26, the film starring John Abraham, Divya Khosla Kumar, and Annup Sonii will be released in theatres. She had previously starred in ‘Satyameva Jayate’ in the ‘Dilbar’ song, which became an immediate hit.
