South star Prabhas, who became a household name with his stint in SS Rajamouli's Baahubali franchise, is done with big-budget films. The actor has managed to do only three films in the last six years which includes his upcoming release titled Saaho, owing the the mammoth scale on which they've all been shot and produced. Apparently, Prabhas has had enough of these big-budget movies and now wants to do smaller films.
While interacting with a Tamil daily, Prabhas was asked if he'd continue to do films like Saaho and Baahubali that are made on such a humongous scale and the actor replied in the neagtive.
Prabhas revealed the reason behind his 'no' and was quoted as saying by the daily,"Enough of it. It is stressful to act in a big-budget film that's in production for a long time. One could do 2 to 3 films at that time. Even Shraddha had to be stuck with this movie for about 2 years."
When quizzed if he feels Saaho will be able to beat Baahubali in terms of box office numbers, the actor told the daily, "I am not sure if Saaho would earn that much money. I just want to entertain all the fans of Baahubali."
Starring Prabhas and Shraddha in the leads, Saaho has been directed by Sujeeth. The film also stars Jackie Shroff and Neil Nitin Mukesh among others. Saaho is to hit the theatres on August 30.
