Biopics seem to be the flavour of the season, but this one stands out from the crowd. Landmark sporting events and athletes — be it cricketers, boxers, hockey players, badminton greats, or their coaches — have caught the fancy of filmmakers. However, Reel Life Entertainment in association with Vinay Pictures is producing a biopic on the life of mathematician Dr Vashishtha Narayan Singh.
The film will be directed by Prakash Jha and produced by Vinay Sinha (who has produced Andaz Apna Apna earlier) and Priti Sinha. The movie will be announced today. When we contacted Priti Sinha, she said, “I’m in Patna to announce the film.”
