Ever since Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas made their relationship official, speculations have been rife that the couple may have a November wedding. It all has just turned out true as a source close to the couple informed Filmfare that Priyanka and Nick are indeed going to tie the knot in November.
They will reportedly have a royal wedding at Umaid Bhawan in Jodhpur. Priyanka will also have a bridal shower in New York City in October. The couple was recently spotted enjoying a leisurely stroll at the famous Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur. Their pictures fuelled the speculation that the blue city may indeed be the venue of their wedding
“Nick and Priyanka were recently in India and had even gone to Jodhpur. That was when they decided the gorgeous Umaid Bhawan to be their dream wedding venue. They will have a limited guest list of 200 people with only their close friends and family in attendance. Since lot of their Hollywood friends are settled in New York, PC is quite excited to have her bridal shower there followed by a grand wedding in Jodhpur,” the source told the glossy.
Spotboye had earlier reported that the actress has already finalised on the designers for her wedding outfit and they are none other than designer-duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.
"Priyanka and Nick will get hitched as per Hindu customs and the actress has roped in Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla to design her wedding lehenga. She met the designer duo on October 6 to finalise the designs. The meeting went on for 6 hours," they qouted a source saying.
For her roka ceremony too, Priyanka had worn a beutiful embroidered suit by the designers. While, the wedding dates are yet to be decided, the source told the portal that Nick Jonas will soon be flying to India for wedding preparations.
"I'm excited. It's a very different feeling. I never realized that having a boyfriend and having a fiancé are completely different," Chopra told E! News at a Tiffany & Co. event in New York City earlier this week.
She added, "It just feels different. There's gravitas. You feel like family, which is just so different." Jonas recently said what truly connects him and Chopra is their "love for family and faith," and she echoed that sentiment to E! News. "We have that in common very much. We've known each other for a couple of years but we dated for just a little while, but I think that's the one thing we really connect on, is our love for family and knowing faith is so important to us," she said.
