Sonali Bendre enjoyed a girls' day out with Priyanka Chopra and Sophie Turner
Priyanka Chopra recently paid a visit to Sonali Bendre, who is undergoing treatment for cancer in New York. Sonali was feeling 'a little low and lonely' after her husband Goldie Behl left for Mumbai and Priyanka's visit really uplifted her spririts.
Sonali Bendre shared a picture of their girls' day out on Instagram. Priyanka was accompanied by her future sister-in-law and Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, celebrity stylist Mimi Cuttrell and publicist Dana Supnick-Guidoni.
"Was a little low and lonely as @goldiebehl had left for Mumbai... thank you @priyankachopra for lifting my spirits!," Sonali wrote. She used the hashtag, "A girls' day out is like chicken soup for the soul."
Recently, Sonali opened up about her struggle and wrote, "Over the past couple of months, I have had good days and bad ones. There have been days when I've been so exhausted and in so much pain that even lifting a finger hurt. I feel like sometimes it's a cycle one that starts off with physical pain and leads to mental and emotional pain."
Though the battle is "long drawn out" and "draining", it is "worth the fight", Sonali said.
