Priyanka Chopra Jonas revealed to Oprah Winfrey that she was asked to deliver a dance performance which made her uncomfortable.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been making waves with video clips of her intimate one-on-one with Oprah Winfrey on her award-winning talk show 'Super Soul'. Priyanka appeared on Oprah's show after her friend Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's explosive interview and spoke about a variety of topics including her marriage to Nick Jonas, her memoir 'Unfinished', and recalling how a director had once mistreated her.

The global icon, who is now a popular figure in the US and India, and married to pop star Nick Jonas, said that she had her share of struggle during her initial days. Priyanka revealed that she was asked to deliver a dance performance which made her uncomfortable.

She further said that she now regrets not confronting the director for the incident. Priyanka told Oprah about her upbringing, "I was told to have an opinion in a room that disagreed with me. I was always encouraged to have a voice."

However, she couldn't call out the director and she still regrets it. "I was so scared. I was new in the entertainment business and girls are always told that 'you don't want to get a reputation of being hard to work with.' So I worked within the system," she said. Priyanka ultimately quit the film.

During her interview with Oprah, Priyanka also spoke about her life after winning the 2000 Miss World title, her first impressions of dating Nick Jonas, and her favourite moment from her big fat Indian wedding which took place at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in December 2018.

On the work front, Priyanka recently wrapped her schedule for 'Matrix 4' and 'Text For You' and is currently in London where she is shooting for her upcoming project 'Citadel'. Backed by 'Avengers: Endgame' directors Russo Brothers, the series also stars 'Game of Thrones' alum Richard Madden.
