Bollywood stars these days often go under the knife for augmenting their facial features using botox or fillers. Radhika Madan, who made her debut in the 2018 film Pataakha, has spoken about that she faced rejections in auditions and was told that she has a 'tedha' jawline. Now, in a recent interview, the actress has said that she doesn't judge stars in the industry for going under the knife.
Talking to News18, Radhika said, "I don’t judge people who get things done because it makes them feel confident and improves their self-image, which is very important." She also recalled that she didn't go under the knife even when she faced comments about her jawline as she added, "I didn’t feel the need at that point (to get any surgery). People used to tell me tell me that my jaw is little tedha. Did they expect me to sit with a scale and measure it ? I was quite surprised because I was Kareena Kapoor in my head. Maybe they couldn’t see it. I didn’t buy that at that point."
Radhika also shared that she might opt for such a surgery in the future as she stated, "I still don’t buy it but maybe I will after a few years. I don’t know but I may just get it done. It all depends on the kind of self-image I have at that point. I wish it remains the way it is right now. In my mind, I’m still Kareena Kapoor. And even if it’s not, I won’t judge myself. So, I’m pretty much okay with all of that."
Meanwhile, on the work front, Radhika was last seen sharing screen space with Akshay Kumar in Sarfira. The Hindi film was the remake of the 2020 Tamil movie Soorarai Pottru and turned out to be a box office failure as it just earned Rs 23 crore net in India, as per the entertainment tracking portal Sacnilk.
