Rakul Preet Singh has been signed on as an ambassador of a beauty brand. This development sees her join Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif who are already prominent faces of the same soap brand.
A source points out that it’s also Rakul’s connect down South which sealed the deal for her.
Our source adds, “Rakul is popular in South India because of her films there and now that she is doing Hindi films, she has a pan-India appeal. So, the brand custodians felt she was perfectly suitable for their campaign. Rakul recently shot for the campaign in Mumbai.” Currently, the actress is shooting for Akiv Ali’s romcom De De Pyaar De, which stars Ajay Devgn and Tabu.
