Ram Gopal Varma says marriages are made in 'hell' after Hardik and Natasa announce separation.

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma posted a cryptic message about marriages and divorces after Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic announced separation. On social media, Varma shared a controversial statement suggesting that marriages are made in 'hell' while divorces are made in 'heaven.'

“MARRIAGES are made in HELL and DIVORCES are made in HEAVEN. I wonder if today’s MARRIAGE in reality does even last as long as the no.of days the parents perform the MARRIAGE.”

He continued, "A paid nurse is a far better option than to marry for being looked after in old age. The nurse will do it as a paid job whereas a wife will make the old man feel eternally guilty.”

In another statement, he said, "LOVE is BLIND and MARRIAGE is an EYE OPENER. A marriage can work only if you have an extraordinary ability to fall in love again and again and again with the same person."

Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic have announced separation after their four years of marriage. The announcement comes after weeks of speculation on their relationship status. The duo said they will continue to co-parent their three-year-old son Agastya together.

In an Instagram post, Hardik wrote, "After 4 years of being together, Natasa and I have decided to mutually part ways”. Their joint statement emphasized that the separation was a mutual decision made in the best interest of both parties. “We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for the both of us."
