Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are presently in New York for their summer vacations. The couple met the Afghanistan cricketer Rashid Khan recently, and the latter shared their picture on his Instagram in the wee hours of Friday, September 15. "With Bollywood’s biggest. It was lovely to meet you #Ranbir @aliaabhatt", he wrote alongside the photo.
Khan, who captains Afghanistan men's national cricket team in the T20 format, was seen wearing a black hoodie with blue jeans, while the Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar looked cool in a grey co-ordinated set, and the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani actress kept it minimal in an all-black outfit.
From September end, Rashid will be in India for the 2023 ODI World Cup. Afghanistan plays its first match againts Bangladesh in Dharamshala on Saturday, October 7, after playing two warm-up games against South Africa, on September 29 in Thiruvananthapuram, and Sri Lanka, on October 3, in Guwahati.
India and Afghanistan will clash on Wednesday, October 11, in the national capital Delhi after the Indian men's cricket team begins its World Cup campaign against Australia in Chennai on October 8, Sunday. Ten teams will play the other nine teams once in the group stage before the Semi-Finals and Finals in the third week of November.
Coming back to the star couple, Ranbir will be seen next in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's criminal drama Animal, which is set to hit theatres on December 1. Also starring Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Bobby Deol, the film will clash at the box office with Vicky Kaushal-starrer Sam Bahadur, biopic of India's first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.
On the other hand, Alia Bhatt's was last seen in her Hollywood debut film Heart Of Stone, which starred Gal Gadot in the leading role. The spy thriller, whch is streaming on the OTT giant Netflix, received mixed revews from critics and audiences. Alia hasn't officially announced her next project yet.
