Ranbir Kapoor poses during the trailer launch of the upcoming film 'Sanju' in Mumbai on May 30, 2018.

Ranbir got hurt playing a charity football match.

Ranbir Kapoor loves to play football and has been part of a few all-star exhibition matches that raise money for charities. At one such star-studded game on Saturday, the Sanju star got himself hurt while trying to take control of the ball.

Ranbir was playing with fellow Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan, whose team ended up winning the game, for a charitable cause when the incident happened. According to a report in Times of India, Ranbir injured his right toe and was immediately taken to a hospital where doctors confirmed that he had damaged tendon.

That injury didn't stop Ranbir from reporting to the duty for a shoot in Goa on Sunday. Like a professional, he showed up and finished the schedule as planned.

Ranbir will be next seen in highly anticipated Sanjay Dutt biopic, Sanju. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the movie will bow out on June 29.

On the personal front, Ranbir generated quite a few ripples when in a recent interview, he admitted that he is dating his Brahmastra co-star Alia Bhatt. He said, "It’s really new right now, and I don’t want to overspeak. It needs time to breathe and it needs space. As an actor, as a person, Alia is — what’s the right word — flowing right now. When I see her work, when I see her act, even in life, what she gives is something that I’m aspiring to for myself."

That's some adorable admission.
