The two superstars have apparently been offered several films together but none of them have worked out so far

Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh are undoubtedly the two best actors of this generation. They enjoy equal amount of stardom and have never failed to impress the audience with their performances.

Ranbir and Ranveer are huge fans of each other and have never shied away form praising one another on public platforms. The fact that Ranbir dated Ranveer's current girlfriend Deepika Padukone in the past never seems to have come in the way of their equation. The two superstars have apparently been offered several films together but none of them seem to have worked out so far.

In a recent interview with film journalist Rajeev Masand, when questioned whether they have ever been offered anything, Ranbir said, "Yeah, lot of films. But, the thing is to cast two actors who have their own sensibilities, it's very hard because both have to like the material. But, I really want to work with him. Because, I am also a very big fan of his work. I think he was spectacular in Padmaavat and everything that he has done. Every ad film he does, he stands out. His energy stands out. And it speaks so much. So, I want to do a film with him but I guess it has to be the right film. It could be something like a Karan-Arjun or Andaaz Apna Apna or Deewaar. It could be anything! Any genre. But it has to be a genre both of us really connect with."

Earlier in an episode of Koffee With Karan season five, when host Karan Johar told them that their camraderie is too good to be true, Ranbir had clarified that he and Ranveer are not best friends but they often hang out together and that he respects him as an actor. Adding to that, Ranveer had said that he is not competing with anyone because he is just too happy with the films that are coming his way.

On the work front, Ranveer is currently working on Rohit Shetty's 'Simmba' and Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy'. On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor is awaiting the release of Rajkumar Hirani's 'Sanju'. He is now shooting Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmasta' with Alia Bhatt.
