Veteran actor Rekha and Bachchan bahu Aishwarya Rai twinned in white as they attended the centenary celebrations of Urdu poet Kaifi Azmi on Monday. While Aishwarya looked gorgeous in a white and golden suit, Rekha donned one of her trademark sikh sarees.
After the event got over, Aishwarya escorted Rekha through the exit like any daughter would have. The two shared several warm hugs and kisses before the latter finally left the venue.

Rekha and Aishwarya have always shared a very warm relationship. Earlier last year, Rekha had penned a letter to Aishwarya. She had signed off with the name, 'Rekha Maa'.
Actor Urmila Matondkar was also seen greeting Rekha at the event. The two also posed together for the cameras.
Dia Mirza, Vidya Balan, Anil Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar - Shibani Dandekar, Twinkle Khanna, Kiran Rao, Zoya Akhtar, Madhu Chopra also took part in the celebrations.
Tabla player Ustaad Zakir Hussain, singer Shankar Mahadevan, actor Shabana Azmi, lyricist Javed Akhtar, sitar maestro Purbayan Chatterjee, Soumil Shringarpure and Dilshad Khan had performed at the Raag Shayari. The show was directed by Feroz Khan of Mogul-E-Azam fame.
