Zarina Wahab is shocked to hear that Rita Bhaduri is no more

Veteran actress Rita Bhaduri's sudden death sent shockwaves among fans and the entertainment industry. 

The Sarabhai vs Sarabhai star, who breathed her last on Tuesday morning, was hospitalised for nearly 10 days. Reporst suggest that she was suffering from kidney ailment. 

The 62-year-old actress has left her friends, family and fans mourning.

Many from the industry and outside, have expressed grief. But it was actor Zarina Wahab's heart-breaking tribute for her FTII batchmate that deserves special mention. 

"Rita Bhaduri was the prettiest lady in our batch. I don't know what to say now. I am in shock to hear the news of her demise. I was constantly trying her phone for the past five days , but there was no response," Wahab was quoted as saying by Times of India.

In fact, the Jazbaat actress was planning on visiting Rita's house for a small get-together. 

"I was unaware about her bad condition. In fact we were planning to visit her house for a small get-together," she added. 

While recalling her last meeting with Rita, Zarina told the daily, "We went to Shirdi last time and since then we were planning to make another outing soon. But unfortunately, Shirdi was our last outing with her."

Rita Bhaduri's last rites will be held on Tuesday at noon at the cremation ground in Andheri. 

"I am feeling extremely sorry that I won't be able to go for her funeral since I had my shoot scheduled for the day. May be I will go for the next rituals," said a sad Zarina Wahab.

Zarina also said that the industry has lost a wonderful actress and a beautiful person.
She wished that her soul rests in peace.

Rita Bhaduri worked in the film industry for over three decades. 

During her long and successful career, the actress worked in over 70 notable films like Raja, Julie, Beta, Dil Vil Pyar Vyar, and 30 TV shows including Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Choti Bahu, Kumkum and Khichdi.
