Taimur Ali Khan is probably the biggest star in the family. Even abba Saif Ali Khan has acknowledged that in his interviews. And that’s saying a big deal when you have such accomplished and popular stars as Saif and Kareena Kapoor Khan for parents.
In the two years since his arrival in the world, Taimur’s popularity only seems to have increased, with the media giving us a daily glimpse of the little munchkin. Everything he does, including when he saw a cat, pointed at it and said, ‘meeaow’, becomes news. Little wonder then, even B-Town has not managed to escape his cuteness.
Recently, when the cast of Simmba, along with director Rohit Shetty, visited the sets of India’s Got Talent, Sara Ali Khan was shown a picture of her tying a rakhi to her brother, Taimur.
Apparently, Karan Johar, who is a judge on the show, was speaking about the tot’s popularity on social media, to which Rohit said that he will request Sara to make her brother wear a Simmba shirt for one day, and added, ‘Meri film ki opening lag jayegi’.
The kiddo’s popularity can be gauged from the fact that even Ranveer Singh said that he wants to play his dad! In an interview, he was heard saying about Taimur, “Woh bahot bada star hai.”
“Jab debut karega, bahot bada star hone wala hai woh, aur tab meri umar ho jayegi, par mujhe acting nahi chodhni. Uss time pe role mujhe sirf Taimur ke daddy ka milega. Woh filmein kare, bahot saari filmein kare, aur har film mein main uske papa ka role karoon,” Ranveer said.
On Kapil Sharma’s show, Krushna Abhishek told Sara that he would like to be Taimur’s nanny! The bachcha’s popularity has rubbed off on the governess as well, who even has a social media fan club dedicated to her. And we have lost count of the number of fan clubs dedicated to Taimur himself. Clearly, B-Town’s obsession with the little Nawab is here to stay!
