Prabhas, who is the superstar of Telugu film industry, has the highest opening in Telugu for his upcoming movie Saaho. For Hindi version however, the advance for Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer is quite weak. The movie is expected to mint Rs. 20 crore on opening day with Hindi version.
Trade analysts Girish Johar, Sumit Kadel and Atul Mohan go on to state that Prabhas' movie Saaho will open to bigger numbers than Thugs of Hindostan, Avengers: Endgame and Kabir Singh. The total collection of the movie on opening day is expected to be around Rs. 75 crore on opening day, including Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu collections.
“Telugu advance is phenomenal with almost all shows full over the weekend. Hindi surprisingly isn’t. In that scenario we should look at Rs 18 crore to Rs 20 crore opening for the Hindi version,” Atul Mohan told Money Control, adding, “if good reports start coming in then evening shows will pick up and in that case the first day is expected to open in the range of Rs 22 crore to Rs 24 crore for the Hindi version.” He also went on to mention, “Saaho Hindi advance is better in mass dominated areas like Bihar, MP (Madhya Pradesh) and UP (Uttar Pradesh). But in big pockets it (advance for Saaho) is slow.”
Made on budget of Rs. 350 crore, Saaho will be rolled out in nearly 4500 screens. The movie, which was previously slated for Independence Day release, now will have a solo release on August 30, 2019. Directed by Sujeeth and produced by UV Creations and T-Series, Saaho is Prabhas' debut in Hindi films. He had last appeared in the lead role in SS Rajamouli's epic drama Baahubali. Apart from Prabhas and Shraddha, the movie also stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff, Mahesh Manjrekar, Chunky Panday, Arun Vijay, Murali Sharma and Mandira Bedi in pivotal roles.
