The much-awaited Saaho, starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles, released solo in theatres on August 30. The movie, much like expected, has managed to become the second highest opening film all across India, beating collections of 2.0 and Avengers: Endgame.
Saaho has recorded Rs. 87 crore across India. The movie has gone on to become Prabhas' second best opening film after Baahubali: The Conclusion. It, like expected, worked best in Andhra and Nizam with collections of Rs. 49 crore there.
The movie, according to Box Office India, went on to mint good in Hindi belt with Rs. 22.25 crore. Meanwhile Karnataka and Mysore went on to contribute Rs. 10 crore to its opening. The movie earned Rs. 3 crore in Tamil Nadu and Rs. 1 crore in Kerala. The regional versions in Hindi belt collected Rs. 1.75 crore.
The gross collections of Saaho went up to Rs. 100 crore, while otherwise the movie minted Rs. 87 crore net in India. While 2.0 had minted Rs. 55.62 crore, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion earned Rs. 121.72 crore, a collection which was difficult to beat.
