A day after Kamal Rashid Khan aka KRK shared that Bollywood superstar Salman Khan had slapped a defamation suit against him in a Mumbai court over his review of the actor's recently released film 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai', the superstar's legal team has issued a statement stating that 'this is incorrect'.

In the statement, Salman's legal team has clarified that the defamation 'suit has been filed as the Defendant (KRK) has been publishing and endorsing defamatory allegations, including that Mr Salman Khan is corrupt, that he and his brand "Being Human" are involved in fraud, manipulation and money laundering transactions, that he and Salman Khan Films are dacoits.'

Here's the full statement from DSK Legal, advocates for Salman Khan and Salman Khan Ventures:

"Mr. Kamaal R Khan, the Defendant, has put out a series of tweets and videos alleging that Mr Salman Khan has sued him for defamation because the Defendant reviewed the film, Radhe. This is incorrect. The suit has been filed as the Defendant has been publishing and endorsing defamatory allegations, including that Mr Salman Khan is corrupt, that he and his brand "Being Human" are involved in fraud, manipulation and money laundering transactions, that he and Salman Khan Films are dacoits. The Defendant has been spreading malicious falsehoods and defaming Mr Salman Khan consistently over several months, clearly with a view to draw attention to himself. Mr Kamaal R Khan's lawyer made a statement in court today that Mr Kamaal R Khan "will not put any remarks of defamatory nature against plaintiff on social media till next date". The Hon'ble Court has been pleased to pass an order taking into account this statement made by Mr. Kamaal R. Khan’s lawyer."

On Wednesday, KRK took to his Twitter handle to share the news about the notice with netizens. He said that the defamation notice had been served to him over his review of 'Radhe'.

In a series of tweets, KRK mentioned that his reviews are only for fun and he does them because his fans enjoy them adding that they aren't meant to hurt anyone. He wrote in a tweet, "Respected @luvsalimkhan Sahab, I am not here to destroy @BeingSalmanKhan films or his career. I review films just for fun. If I know that Salman get affected by my review so I won’t review. If he could have asked me to not review his film So I would have not reviewed (sic)."

KRK then went onto add that he shall henceforth not review any of Salman Khan's films. He wrote, "I said so many times that I never review film of any producer, actor if he asks me to not review. Salman khan filed a defamation case on me for review of #Radhe means he is getting too much affected by my review. Hence I won’t review his films anymore. My last video releasing today (sic)."

Lastly, in a separate tweet addressed to Salman Khan's father Salim Khan, KRK wrote, "Therefore there is no need to file a case to stop me from reviewing his film. Salim Sir, I am not here to hurt anyone. So I won't review his film in the future. Pls ask him to not proceed the case. I will delete my review videos also if you want. Thank you Salim Sahab! (sic)."

Meanwhile, as per KRK's latest tweet, the next court hearing is scheduled for hearing on June 7.
