Several reports started doing the rounds recently suggesting that Salman Khan is all set to make her debut as a television producer with a show on Mumbai police officers which goes on air next month.
Now as per a report in Mumbai Mirror, Salman’s first TV production, for Sony, is scheduled to go on air next month. With the cast and crew already finalised, the shooting also kicked off quietly a few weeks ago at a Mumbai studio. Further, a source close to the development revealed to Mirror that Mahesh Limaye, the National Award-winning director of the 2014 Marathi film Yellow will direct the yet-untitled show. “Writer Sridhar Raghavan, who has written films like Rohan Sippy’s light-hearted Bluffmaster and Rajkumar Santoshi multistarrer Khakee, among others, has written the script,” informed the source.
Interestingly, Mukul Dev, who was last seen in the 21 Sarfarosh: Sargarhi 1897, has been paired opposite Pooja Gor of Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya fame to star in the show. “The team has been researching stories on real-life cops from Mumbai.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman is all set to star next in Remo D’souza’s next and will also make his comeback as host with the reality game-show Dus Ka Dum.
