Much like any other Salman Khan release, his last Eid offering Tubelight was also a highly anticipated flick. It was sold at a whopping sum to the distributors and when the Kabir Khan directorial failed to perform as per the expectations at the box office, it was reported that the distributors were upset over the massive losses that they suffered.

While Tubelight failed to impress the die hard Bhai fans and the critics alike, looks like Salman has now decided to come forward to help those distributors who've incurred losses because of the poor box office performance of the film. 

As per a report on BollywoodLife, the actor plans to refund the losses of the distributors because of his film. Apparently, the distributors are contemplating to meet Salim khan to discuss the way forward. The report quoted a source as saying, "“Distributors will meet Salim Khan today to discuss the matter. Salim saab and Salman are contemplating returning nearly Rs 50-55 crore to them so that they don’t bear the brunt much.”

Now, if this turns out to be true then it's definitely a rare and one of its kind gesture to have been made by a Bollywood actor. Watch this space for more...
