Rajkumar Hirani's 'Sanju' is winning hearts all over and breaking all box office records too. The film not just touched the right chords for the depiction of a beautiful relationship between father-son duo played by Paresh Rawal and Ranbir Kapoor, Dutt's biopic also boasts of the heartwarming bond between 'Sanju' and his friend Kamlesh played by Vicky Kaushal in the film.

Kamlesh Kapasi's character is based on Sanjay Dutt's best friend Paresh Ghelani. After watching Sanjay Dutt's biopic Sanju, the real-life Kamli took to Twitter to post a heartfelt message on the day he debuted on social media.

Reminiscing the highs and lows shared by the two, Paresh Ghelani was overwhelmed as the world shares their story today. Thanking the film and Sanjay Dutt, Paresh asked the Tiger to keep roaring in his post.

Paresh took to Twitter and wrote,“After watching Sanju, I was numb, numb with limitless emotions. I just wanted to hug him, hold onto him, and cry. Cry endlessly to the years we had lost, to the years we stood by and witnessed this roller-coaster ride called life and the irrevocable loss of loved ones…To the mistakes, we cannot undo, to the strength we cannot find elsewhere, but in each other.”

Creating a record with the phenomenal numbers on an opening day, Sanju has been raking high at the box office winning hearts all over. The Rajkumar Hirani directorial has crossed over 200 crores in a week and is running strong at the box office. 

While Sanju marks to be Ranbir Kapoor's first 200 crore film, it is the third film for Rajkumar Hirani after 3 Idiots and PK. 

Sanju depicts the life of Sanjay Dutt right from his younger days to his conviction.
