Actor Sanya Malhotra who has been receiving rave reviews for her recently released film 'Pagglait', during an episode of dance reality show 'Dance Deewane 3', revealed that she was rejected by the show's judge and choreographer Dharmesh six years ago.
At the start of her career, Sanya had participated in a dance reality show where choreographer Dharmesh Yelande, during the auditions, did not select the actress.
In a promo video shared by the makers of the dance reality show, Sanya can be seen telling Dharmesh, "Life has come a full circle for me today. Six years back, I had come to this studio for a dance-reality show audition and I did not clear it. And I remember, it was 1 a.m. in the night when I got free and I called my friend and said that I have not been able to get through and to come and pick me up. And you were there, Dharmesh sir. I was not able to clear it because of you. But now, I am here to promote my film."
In response, Dharmesh said, "I think when you must have left from here that day, you would have left with a lot of courage and determination that 'Mujhe ab karke dikhana hai'.
This was obviously before Sanya took to acting and bagged Aamir Khan starrer 'Dangal' after which there was no turning back for her.
As far as dancing is concerned, those unaware, Sanya is an ace dancer herself and she often takes to Instagram to share videos showcasing her dancing skills.
On the work front, her last film 'Pagglait' released on Netflix on March 26.
