John Abraham and Manoj Bajpayee, who will be seen at loggerheads in Nikkhil Advani and Bhushan Kumar’s Satyameva Jayate, have one thing in common — they both hate night shoots. But, honestly, no one seemed to be listening to either of them. For their upcoming masala entertainer, they had to shoot overnight on several occasions. John tells us that once, when he couldn’t work beyond 2 am for the shift ending at 5 am, he would instigate his co-actor and say, “Manoj, you are looking tired,’’ so that the latter would request for a pack up and we could resume the following night. I’d fire the gun from his shoulder.”

Manoj didn’t seem to mind John’s little tricks.  He says, “I love being the bad guy.” On a serious note, he elaborates, “I’m someone who is usually in bed by 10 pm. However, our director Milap Zaveri seemed extra kicked about shooting at nights. He made our lives hell as all the difficult scenes, were shot at night. At times, he was troubled by John and me, but he troubled us equally with those dialogues. Honestly, who says 300 lines in one night! I actually had to do that!!!”
