Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays Tahoor Khan, an insurance claim consultant in the thrilling drama Section 108.

The teaser for Nawazuddin Sddiqui and Regina Cassandra's next film titled Section 108 was unveiled by the makers in the wee hours of Monday, August 28. Sharing the teaser on its social media channels, T-Series wrote, "Ready to have your mind blown? 'Section 108' drops the scam bombshell with Nawaz and Regina at the helm! Teaser's live – grab your popcorn and get ready for the scam ride of a lifetime!".

The teaser shows Regina as Shikha Saxena, who represents Sunrise Insurance, seeking help from Nawaz, who plays an insurance claim consultant named Tahoor Khan. She presents him with an intriguing case of a mission billionaire, who is going to be declared dead in the coming days, and then her company will have to pay a huge sum of money to the billionaire's nominee. Shikha thinks it's a scam and Nawaz agrees to take upon this challenge.

The film is titled after the Section 108 of The Indian Evidence Act 1872, which states that if a man is not heard of for seven years, the burden of proving that he is alive is shifted to the person who affirms it.

Though not seen in the teaser, the upcoming film also features Aasif Khan, Rumi Khan, Saanand Verma, Alisshaa Ohri, and Saharsh Kumar Shukla in key roles. The film, slated to release on February 2 next year, is directed by Rasikh Khan and presented by Anees Bazmee of No Entry, Welcome, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 fame.

Netizens shared their excitements towards the film and heaped praises on the background music in the teaser.
