The vivacious yound actress Janhvi Kapoor who marked her debut in Bollywood with Dhadak and left an indellible impression with her performance, is riding high on the success of the same. 

Even though the daughter of veteran actress late Sridevi and Boney Kapoor was unfortunate as her mother could not watch her first film, she took everything in her stride and is not dithered.

On the occasion of Sridevi's birth anniversary on Monday, Janhvi posted a photograph of her with her parents. 

The picture is adorable where one can see a young Sridevi holding little Janhvi  in her arms, while Boney is standing behind the two beautiful belles and hugging them tightly.

In a striped tee with her hair left open, the MOM actress looks beautiful while Janhvi is just so cute in that matching white outfit with matching hat, socks and shoes! 

 

 

Sridevi's untimely demise sent shockwaves across the nation, with fans and followers mourning the death of the great actress. And while this happened, Janhvi was shooting for Dhadak, opposite Shahid Kapoor's younger brother Ishaan Khatter

Janhvi Kapoor who has recently been roped in for Karan Johar's period drama Takht, which also stars celebrities, including Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor, told Hindustan Times in an interview that her mother had adviced her on choosing roles that are interesting.

She told the paper, “But you have to create an impact with whatever little you get. If one can leave an impression [in such parts] on audiences and touch their hearts, then there’s nothing like it. That’s what mum [Sridevi] always used to say. She would tell me, ‘it’s never about the kind of role you get, you need to create magic with whatever is given to you’. I hope that I can get to that [stage] one day.”
