Shah Rukh Khan reportedly rushed to the US after his treatment in Mumbai went wrong.

Shah Rukh Khan left fans worried after he was admitted to the hospital post suffering a heatstroke during the IPL. The actor is now reportedly in need of another medical attention and is being rushed to the US for eye treatment. 

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Shah Rukh Khan is being rushed to the US for eye surgery. A source told the portal, "Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) had gone to a hospital in Mumbai on Monday, July 29 for an eye treatment. The treatment didn’t go as planned. SRK is now being rushed to the USA to rectify the damage.” The source, however, didn’t share information on the treatment that Shah Rukh underwent and what went wrong. DNA could not independently verify this claim.

However, according to a report in Zoom, it was reported that Shah Rukh Khan Khan had already undergone eye surgery prior to Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding. According to the report, SRK was treated for a cataract in one eye in Mumbai, with the second eye addressed in the US. Despite the surgery, some issues with his eyes persist. The actor is, however, yet to react to the reports of eye surgery. 

Meanwhile, on the work front, After shaking the box office in 2023 with his back-to-back hits, Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki, the actor is now all set to be seen in the movie King. The film is reportedly being helmed by Sujoy Ghosh and will mark his daughter Suhana Khan's big theatrical debut. The film also stars Abhishek Bachchan as the antagonist and is currently in the pre-production stage and is expected to go on floors in August. The film’s music will be scored by Anirudh, who had given the chartbuster music of Jawan and is scheduled to release in 2025.
