A bitchy actress called to say, “Now Shah Rukh Khan has moved his film Jab Harry Met Sejal from August 11 to August 4 thereby avoiding a clash with Akshay Kumar’s Toilet — Ek Prem Katha. Four years ago, it was a different story altogether. Akshay’s Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai Dobaara was supposed to release on August 8, and the same date was later chosen by SRK for his Chennai Express. There were some issues regarding the allotment of screens, too! After much back and forth, SRK convinced i producer Ekta Kapoor’s father Jeetendra to push the date of the Akshay-starrer by a week. Today SRK has done the unthinkable and shifted. He must have become wiser after his earlier film clashes — Dilwale/Bajirao Mastani and Raees/Kaabil — that didn’t bode well for the trade!”
